Unfortunately for the operative however, the good doctor seemed of the mind that he could easily do without her. Or so she would assume from the odd, segmented weapon he immediately leveled at her the moment she stepped inside.
The next few moments are a blur in her mind. She distinctly remember darting aside as a bright, blue-white light filled the room.
One moment, she was throwing herself to the side in an attempt to evade whatever the hell that was, the next, she found herself on her back, blinking the ceiling back into focus to the unmistakable smell of ozone.
Picking herself up, it quickly became apparent that the good doctor had vacated the area and his cackling laughter was quickly disappearing down one of the many hallways outside, leading to their current game of cat-and-mouse.
Well, at least whatever it was that the damn scientist hit her with appeared to have had little to no effect...

Not as much mentally changed as always having been like this. Somehow. Despite not being like that a few moments ago.
This is usually why you do not load your highly experimental prototype weapons with very unstable and badly understood timey-wimey energies responsible for shunting dinosaurs into the present, and then firing it at a previously and wholesale undocumented target.
... then again, some would argue this is exactly the reason for doing so.
