Ugh, I'm done with it. Well, I'm done messing with it. Yeah, it has many flaws though I'm tired of working on it. Not that it matters much as my non-porn normally gets less than 20 views. *shrugs* I hope it was good practice anyway.
I know I could do better but I just want to finish with it. The perspective really screwed up, the interior blotchy, rims not too hot, and other various problems going to have to stay as is. I do like it overall minus the flaws. I think I shaded the front end quite well. The turn signals has that nice glint to it. The hood I really like especially the scoop. The grill could be a lot better however. Also the headlight could use more work.
The background I made by simply take a quick 2 color fill and then layering a picture I took long ago. Turned out much better than I thought with the effort I put into it. I have a few more pictures to spiff it up some more but my laziness took over so this is all I have.
So, who wants to take a test drive? *dangles the key.* It's on a closed track so you can really open it up. I'm sure you'll find it has plenty of power and handles excellent with short eye-popping braking from those big brakes and sticky treads. A fun ride I tell you.

Yeah, some Camaro along with a bit of AC Cobra, 68 GT500KR and a touch of GT-40 thrown in for good measure. Though I did consciously used them as they sort of oozed out. I never did like Bugatti (those ugly grills combined with some of the non-sensible crap stuck to them I don't like).
The rounded fender bulges I plucked from GT prototype racing cars, especially the Jaguars. The hood scoop is a typical muscle car ram air type that I used on many of my drawings. The rims are unique. I wanted them to be functional. the fine 'spokes' operates like fan blades and suck out the air from under the car like a turbine under speed. This vacuum along with the ground effects would help keep the car stuck on the road. I don't think anyone used the rim quite like that (wouldn't surprise me if someone did).
I'm an engineer so i tend to make stuff functional as well as atheistically pleasing (well, try to anyway). I hate things like fake vents and fartpipes (which often actually hurts performance). No faux carbon fiber either. What you see is what you get.

Ah, classic American engineering. Superb acceleration, high top speed, but only one problem. If you need to turn your screwed. I always want the big 3 to remake their classic muscle cars. The mustang remake, challenger, and who can forget the top dog, Camaro! It's a new dawn, American muscle is on the return, and it's about damn time X3 I like that idea of the wheels acting as suction and the body paneling working with em.
The older muscle cars handling were hampered by crappy bias-ply tires. When I put radials on my 71 Camaro, it made a huge difference. Taking turns at over 100mph is much better with the 50 series tires. One day I'll stuff some 17" or 18" wheels on the thing.
I remember rearing about a late 70s Trans Am that someone did some minor modifications to like 295 tires out back and 275 ones in front (he had to notch the A-arms to get them to fit) along with some stiffer springs, poly bushings, and some tweaks. He got the best time on that track they used for the story.
My brother used to run some Dunlops D40s and they stick liked glue. Plus he had it super lowered. Was very nice but he had to lift it an inch since it had a bad habit bottoming out the front end on inclines like driveways. I looked so slick lowered all the way liked that. Also the tires wore out way too quick and was more expensive to replace than the cheaper ones he replaced them with. It still turned good but no where great it once did.
BTW, we found KYB shocks made a big difference too. They were (and maybe still are. I haven't priced them lately) fairly cheap. A little over $100US would fill all four corners back then. Konis was like 3 to 4 times the price easy.
I seen turbine wheels before but they weren't functional. My idea is to put them to work in not only pulling the air from under the vehicle, but to keep the disk brakes cool. Combined with a fire breathing big block V8, tons of fun.
