Well, she's technically the daughter of the dragon (the original soul was ejected when hers was implanted) but she has the human's imprinted memories in addition to her own. All of them. When the magic suppressing these imprinted memories failed (she was badly wounded) she recalled all of those and has been basically suffering an identity crisis ever since.
