The smoke itself generally just does what smoke does, unless it's formed into something. Blowdrying is more of an Avin (wind) ability though. :)

Also, yesterday it suddenly occurred to me that, since the whole area they're in is pretty much impossible, it might be constantly changing around them. For example, Sha mapped the place with Meeka's help, but the intersection where they should meet up with Fen would not be there at all. Then they could turn around and head backwards, but the place where the cave-in happened would be an entirely different section. So anything that's not actually visible at any given time could be taken for granted. (Antichamber cave design :P) So, maybe Fen didn't even move from her spot, but the cave shifted around her.

Also, where's Fen's bracelet?

I just watched the Hobbit 2 yesterday. 3/5 at best, almost a 2/5 for the use of a FUCKING GOPRO.. Beyond that, cheap CG and at times nonsensical dialogue, paired with some of the most cliche stuff in the bidnezz kinda killed it for me. But at least it had a drake.

I've already asked this question, so I know that no, it isn't. In panel 3, there's a single visible light on the upper ledge where Fen fell asleep. That's where the bracelet is. It's more than likely that the object in the water is the Artefact they're looking for.
