Finally did a picture of a character I've had for a while now ^^;
Well here we have Kira, full name Kira-Minaki Mendez, she is a 15 year old anthro southwestern sand dragon. But she is half Japanese dragon too, her mom is Japanese and her dad is Mexican American.
Kira is from West Hills, in the San Fernando valley in Los Angeles, CA she's currently a sophomore in high school which is 10th grade and is known for her rather eccentric and kooky personality, she's a skater has roller skates, roller blades and a skateboard, she also is a bit of a gamer too she also is active likes to do outdoor things too.
She also is one of few girls from California not obessed with her looks to the extreme as her big frizzy hair shows, when she turned 13 she had one heck of an experience when she took off on her skates when her wings made lift and she wound up in a tree XD
She has had a regular childhood, nothing too bad other then her tree incident and when she got her learner's permit on driving, Kira's not a magician as older Japanese dragons do practice magic as tradition, she's Americanized and is more into crafts and model making, she also loves skating on her blades since she can pick up speed with her wings by spreading them like a plane and often flies right after doing this.
Her best friend is Emma, a kushala daora dragon she met in the 4th grade and they've been best friends since then since they both have a lot in common, although Emma is a metal elemental elder dragon, but Kira is close friends.
Kira also is into the unkown and since the discovery of an elven star gate saved enough money to travel down to San Diego to Comic Con where she met Bo, a blonde haired salamence girl who was heading to Massachusetts to the new star gate called the Einstein-Rosen gate, an engineered transversable wormhole that allowed them to enter in Bo's car along with other vehicles and 2 M2 Bradley fighting vehicles since the army is now aware of a militant race known on that planet as " the Forae " they are rag-tag guerilla fighters who have been clashing with another race of elves for a long time, only now is the American forces giving aide to the elves, this is all because of a pink wyvern from Boston as Blossom is known who came from the gate and was found by FBI agents who were on a manhunt for the Boston kidnapper, Kira on the other hand is interested now in seeing more of this world with her new friend Bo :3
