Inside the tunnels of the now abandoned Hanson Quarry Company in Sinks (Mullins) Kentucky. This quarry operated until around 2008 when it was abandoned after the economic crisis. The tunnels head deep into the mountain in several directions.
In early 2014 this site was the scene of an attempted murder when a man was nearly beaten to death and left under a pile of rocks near the quarry entrance for $700 in cash that was on his person in a drug deal gone bad. Luckily for the man a group of ATV enthusiasts happened to pass by and heard his groans and saved him.
