EDIT: I have been working a lot on this scene. I fixed the tree texture and will be working on the ferns. I have also fixed the compositing to make the glow smoother and also add glare to the scene. I figured out how to render soft shadows in Blender Internal. I will post the results when I have another successful test render.

To those in the know about the video project, I am working feverishly to add quality to the final product. I'm working on a 3D scene for a part near the climax of the video (ferns and bushes will be added) and I have also done lots of work with Blender's compositing nodes.
