Mane and Tail: Midnight Black
Species: Alicorn -but isn't really. She is a bit like a Shetland pony; stocky and strong.
Cutie Mark: Symbol of Epona (goddess of fertility and protector of horses, mules, ponies, and donkeys)
As a Doctor: her cutie mark is a caduceus (symbol of physicians)
Occupation: OB/GYN/Pediatrician
About:
Epona Calliope is not really an Alicorn, she is actually a fallen goddess. Through lots of bad decisions and being treated like a child several times. She had finally grown up and has taken her place among the ponies to treat and take care of them.
She's never claimed to be more important than the princesses and keeps her role humble and under the "radar". She will never claim to be better than any other pony. She is held in high regard though by Discord and his family as "THE BEST DOCTOR IN EQUESTRIA." She is NOT a Princess. Just an Alicorn that uses her abilities as a doctor.
She can lose a patient even though she tries her best to save them she will not go beyond her abilities to do it, she is a doctor not a magician. If she had her full power of a goddess even she knows not to go beyond her realm of possibility. That is also the reason why she will ask for Discord's help in certain situations because he has no qualms about going beyond the bounds of reality.
It's also a reason why a long time ago she had a huge crush on Discord and she had become a villain at one point, but when he treated her like she was an infant yet again... She left him to his fate.
