Sure, a mere guitar could drop a person, but you need to swing it just so, and have great control. An acoustic guitar is trickier...you need to compensate for air resistance and hit at the nape of the neck with the upper or lower edge of the resonator box. Then it's just precision, and you have a very unorthodox sap. Or you could swing it from the resonator box and use the neck as the impact point...solid wood, and if you want lethality, swing the pegs into the temple.

You could also have a guitar with internal reinforcement...I mean yeah, concealing a hammer is one thing, but this is a signature weapon! (And if it played like a real guitar, an acoustic masterpiece!)

Or just use an electric guitar.
