Here's another project I've been working on in class.
Essentially, it was a coloring exercise. Draw something, anything, then color it.
That's right, I exposed my class to furry! \o/
They're a bunch of gamers and nerds like me, so it's nothing they haven't seen seldomly in games. They have good imaginations so this kind of stuff isn't alien to them.
Basically, we had to draw a picture on the spot and color it. I tried bringing in some tame black and white pictures to pick to color, but teacher said that was cheating. :p
So I drew and inked this picture without my usual pencils, erasers and pens. I used a mechanical pencil and a 05 pen that someone else had and drew the picture up in 30 minutes. That's why the inking lines are fat and sketchy and thick in some places.
He told me not to pay much attention to the inking process... which killed me a little on the inside ;-;
The outline is thicker cause he suggested it for the exercise.
But essentially the whole point of the project was to focus more on the coloring aspect, and that's what I did. x3;
I used a few new techniques and learned a lot through the class. Stuff I never knew I could do and used tools I never thought I would be able to actually use.
\o/ Exuberance!
So I give you Grey about to whoop some ass. There's a point in his story, where he manages to release his father's sword, but the problem is that if he isn't ready for it, the malevolent energy will possess his spirit, turning him into a vengeful, lifeless killing machine.
What you see here are the few precious moments before he releases the full potential of his father's wrathful spirit.
Eeeevil eeeeye :O
EDIT: The phrase "Calm before the Storm" Implies that what you see is considered calm to what will happen next. It's artistic and considered an oxymoron. Like calling a big guy 'Tiny'.
PS: Turn on your scouter.... Yes, his power level is over 9000.

It's artistic in a way and considered an oxymoron.
Also, please keep unnecessary posts to a minimum, if not to an all out zero.
This kind of stuff is for IM windows and texts and phonecalls, anyway :p

Gotta love an artistic oxymoron! And thank you!
I was trying to go for a crumbling ground and rising dust and debris from his growing aura.
You know, DragonballZ style, except less constipation and more awesome.
But I'm not dissing DBZ. It had it's moments and I'm not afraid to admit I liked it.
