Video of this costume in action https://youtu.be/dkDcorVbaRA
The only help I had in creating this is my helpers sewed things I pattered/cut/pinned, and the only things I did not make myself were the horns, spikes, teeth, claws and paw pads as those were purchased from DVC. Even with the minor help and prefabricated resin/silicone bits this was a huge amount of work and is the most complicated and expensive costume I have ever made.
I am open for making more DAD quads but I am afraid I must charge a lot. So much went into this, so much, I have been posting various WIPs the last few weeks but so much more work is unseen, like how much went into making that tail work!
As to what I Dutch Angel Dragon is http://www.dutchangeldragons.com/ Which this may well be the first "feral" DAD fursuit out there (defiantly the first quadsuit) all the others I have seen (including Telephone who belongs to the species creator) have been a chibi anthro version of the species. I am VERY happy to represent the species as it really is, that being a horse-like dragon.
PS I got up 4 hours early and drove half an hour each way to do pictures in its "natural habitat" before it got too hot... backyard photos would just not suffice for this one!
PSS the tongue is adjustable/removable and I plan to set it shorter to decrease the derp factor.

THIS IS TOO AWESOME FOR WORDS!!!!
I LOVE YOUR QUADSUITS SO MUCH <3 YOU PUT SO MUCH DETAIL AND EFFORT AND BEAUTY INTO THEM!
They're what brought me to the furry fandom in the first place!! When I see padded costumes like these, I wonder, "There's a human in this!!!?"
And the mystery of digitigrade suits and padded quadsuits is so incredibly appealing to me! To put on a costume and transform into a never before seen creature that causes other people to question and wonder helplessly how this costume is so realistic and if there really is a human inside there!
The fact that you can make people believe that a real four-legged animal is walking around...on all fours, not like the obvious costumes with two people under them holding up a tablecloth for a back, but a true transformation...is so wonderful to me!! ^_^ That's what I love about suiting! The initial deception!
I hope to one day build a quadsuit half as exquisite as your work!! :D

was it on one of my youtube videos? I tend to post and never look back so I am guessing there, sound about right as I used to advertise my prices there.
$1000 was the start price of a digigrade fullsuit ten years ago, now $1000 is the start price of just a head with platigrade fullsuits starting at $3000 and digigrade fullsuits starting at $4000.
My work quality has gone way up, as has demand for my work, also the prices of fursuits in general have gone up a lot in a decade not just from me.
