concepting, mostly elaborating on old ideas
the right one is kirin/qilin based; scaly and feathery. Left, I don't know ;3
Oh yeah, I don't have so much practise with unguligrade/digitigrade legs, I hope I'm doing alright!

They look fine to me, but then again I've never drawn Digigrade legs either, so I don't exactly have any expertise in it.
I love the proportions you have going on here, though. I've found that proportion is possibly the most difficult thing to draw, is probably the most important, and ironically is probably the most ignored, at least in this realm of art. I suppose people are too busy drooling over their tits and ass pics to notice proportion issues.
If you want me to critique on their legs, again, I'm afraid I can't do that reliably. I will be faving this as a good example of excellent proportionate figures, though. Nice Work.

Proportions when drawing a body not affected by perspective (such as straight from the front), can be aided by using grids and similar measures.. observe Andrew Loomis: http://kriscrash.dk/aht/loomis/014.JPG this is basically what I have done, and tilted the lines a little for hips and shoulders. If you draw more ... bent... poses proportions become less noticeable, though it is also easier to draw interesting curvaceous anatomy.
No problem, but I'm glad they look convincing. It isn't easy to just rip something from a four legged creature, after all ;)
Thank you.
