While I did watch the He-Man series that showed up in the early 2000's I admit I did not watch the original series. (It was a little too fruity for me) But I do admit I have a soft spot for it. So when I encountered He-Man, I had to have a laugh and a picture.

I grew up with the original series and I don't even look at that He-Man as gay, really. Duncan/Man-at-Arms he trusted as a mentor and respected as the main general of the Eternian Army as well as most resourceful member of the Masters. Also the only person he ever showed any romantic feelings for was Duncan's daughter Teela, though in flashbacks in the original series, she was shown to bully Adam a lot as a kid
