For being wonderful friends of course. If I didn't have you guys and my husband I'd be completely depressed right now. I can't believe you favorited it, it's not worthy. Thanks though. Yeah, I don't know how Tink would feel about being a Chihuahua...I should have added Locrio even if he isn't going to be here. It was somewhat hard to not put everyone's name in, but I didn't want to because they might not want to use those name. I'm certainly not Tahlir :).

Awww, you are so sweet! I love being your friend and I love the fact that you've agreed to be my bridesmaid! We are going to have so much fun, when we're not too busy, that is. O_o I can't wait for Saturday, and not least because my exam will then be done and dusted!

On a more serious note, I saw a rheumatologist today and he diagnosed me with HMS.

Of course you can do parsnips and carrots. And I can't wait till Saturday either. I'm so afraid Buddy's going to get ahold of the turkey cause it's in the conservatory right now, hidden behind a chair and a box. It's really cold in there and there isn't any reason to put it in the fridge really because it's frozen.

I'm glad at least you were diagnosed, though I wish it wasn't HMS. At least you know for sure you have it now. *hugs*

I think I'll do some roasted parsnips with maple syrup... ^_^ Good luck with keeping the turkey safe from the Buddy! Sinta has taken to chewing potatoes (weird dog) at Lutien's parents' place and is now banned from the kitchen. I don't know when I'm going to have the time to do all the cooking, but I'm sure it'll all work out somehow.

I was both relieved and down about the diagnosis, but I've had plenty of time to get used to the idea of being ill. So now I'm hoping that my new meds will do me good and playing with my TENS machine.

Thanks, we'll have to see how things go. We'll probably have to start the swede casserole today or tomorrow at the very latest, as it has to set overnight. But yeah, things are a bit hectic at the moment, I'll be much wiser tomorrow after I've got my exam sorted and have finished the week's work.

TENS stands for Transcutaneous Electric Nerve Stimulation and basically it uses low voltage electric current to block out the pain signals going to the brain and/or replace them with different signals that stimulate the endorphin production in the brain and hence reduce the sensation of pain. It feels wicked weird! And on one setting, very tingly! I'm starting to feel an ever greater connection with Kia... ^_^

Also, I'm taking anti-depressants in very low doses as my new pain medication. With pills like that and electric shocks, my pain management is positively Medieval... O_o
