Some digital non-furry art again. Decided to give Open Canvas a go.
Zinc is one of my oldest characters and has starred in four of his title comics many years ago. The guy was inspired by alot of 90's videogame and cartoon characters, namely eartworm jim :) The name was something I whipped up fast from an english dictionary, something that would sound, wait for it, "cool". Anyway, I've associated the word to this character for so long that I can't imagine it as anything else than a name, so why change it?
A new short comic is underway and a proper character sheet may be upploaded.
STORY SUMMARY
Zinc is a shipwrecked alien infantryman of an unknown species (even to himself) from a collective interstellar military force imaginatively called "the space marines". Due to the destruction following a major villain's "jailbreak" in an outpost he ends up in earth alone. He quickly finds himself companions in misfortune, the Charles brothers, who are from an alternate earth and trapped to the current reality because of an unfortunate mishap during the first contact between their race and humans.
Zinc, driven by his desire for action, thrill and to live out a personal prophecy of his, undertakes a role as 'the defender of earth and all nearby life that recognizes justice'. Equipped with superior technology provided by his inhuman friends he becomes Murphy, who reads his LAW to the extrasolar evildoers! (Pun intended).
Current status of character: stasis hangover but getting better.
