omfg I feel for you holy shit. I work in customer service at a bakery and people just. I don't even know sometimes. Also the art community is filled with stupid people.

Exactly... It's even worse when people in the same field as you are like that... For example my work is IT support over the phone for Financial Advisors.. and on the occasions I have the delight-sarcasm- to talk to their IT consultants it's awful. They're some of the stupidest people I've ever had to deal with. I would expect another IT personal to have at least the same level of knowledge as I do, since I'm essentially low-level IT, but sometimes I feel like if I were to look at their college degrees it would be written in crayon on crappily cut cardboard with the occasional backwards letter.

pffffff Damn that sucks. Over the phone shit is the worst. I'd just give up and flip tables and smash things on a daily basis if I were in your position.

Yea.. I just have a long experience of customer service so I know how to deal with it internally. It can be worse in person..had a guy throw a laptop power adapter at me at my last job in a repair shop because he didn't like the price of his bill. Haha.

I know this feeling...and facial expression...all too well. I'm sorry to hear you've been exposed to your allergen (from one of your earlier comments it seems to be allergy season for you =). Hopefully your allergy will clear up as we transition seasons (maybe if we're really lucky the allergens will all get carried away by weather favorable conditions to other places =).

i have been wearing this expression for a while. I fear it might just become my resting face when I'm not trying to make any expression. My face will just freeze this way. That is the most severe symptom of my allergen.

maybe one day, we'll gain either immunity, or alternatively, all stupid people will just stop procreating :'D

We can only hope and dream of such a bright future. Worst case scenario, if you do end up going full on curmudgeon after many years of over exposure to rampant idiocy, we could arrange to spend time together sitting on a porch complaining about morons, the music of the day, and people on our lawns while butchering youth slang via our inability to comprehensively grasp its subtleties and enjoying some sweet iced tea or coffee/lattes depending on the season (probably while our respective other halves spend time varying between joining in and talking amongst themselves =). I'd even be sure to bring my cane to shake at people too.
