djinnwatchmaker commissioned me to make two mini badges as concepts for a full badge. The first one is a smoky, shapeshifter bunny. The second is a simple concept for an Obsidian gemsona bunny. I wasn't really trying to do the gemsona in the style of Steven Universe, but I simplified some lines and went with flat colors. The gem is a tongue stud and the books are their weapons. I love the idea of this bunny pulling books out of their mouth, lol! It occurs to me now a weaponized obsidian book could be much cooler. As it is I went with basic leather-bound books, then tried giving them some extra texture. If Djinnwatcher chooses the gemsona for the full badge I'll probably play with the look a lot more, this is just a starting point for both ideas.
