Trying to slim down is a pain in the ass.
You're hungry ALL THE TIME, with the weirdest cravings at the worst moments, and there's jack all you can do about it!
And before you ask, I draw my character a good 100 pounds lighter than I am IRL. Im a chubby lady and I don't want that chub anymore.
Only downside here is that the fat in my legs is turning to muscle which means im technically GAINING weight and thus having issues seeing if this is even working T_T

Eat a bunch of food, but in smaller amounts throughout the day :3 Eating less than you normally do just makes you hungry. It's all about starting your metabolism early in the day (i.e. breakfast is the most important meal of the day, etc), and keeping it burning, instead of spacing it out between 1 or 2 big meals throughout the day :3 I'm no expert, but I hope this helps at least ^^
funny thing is, i get a different report depending on who I ask.
Some people say light grazing is good.
Others tell me that it screws up your body's ability to tell when it needs to function thus slowing down your metabolism.
One report says more carbs.
One says cut out carbs.
Sugar is bad, salt is bad, fat is bad, breathing is bad....
Dieting is impossible these days T_T
Its not so much that Im eating less, it's that I'm eating better which sadly means WAY less fat than I'm used to. Fat is filling. Veggies and mega lean meats are not. I had a huge yummy bowl of crab and chicken and veggies and im still ready to chew the arm off the couch.

Thats because the majority of diet science is well, not science. We only know the basics scientifically because we learned from other people's dirty work. Mainly the nazi death camps. Yes the basis of modern diet science came from treating the victims and examining the paperwork they left behind.
The rest can't really be considered science because as a step to doing a study on humans one must have the study approved by a board of ethics, they won't approve anything that can be seen as causing harm. So for example there was a scientist who wrote a book on this who wanted to actually test the theory that all fat is bad for you, they refused because it was wrong to cause intentional harm. The scientist asked why, they replied 'because we already know fat is bad for you'. The study was going to try to prove and find out why it was.
Right now the majority of science of the human diet is 'voluntary self reporting' with no way to control external factors and force feeding lab bred mice a human diet. A animal that has not evolved to eat a diet that is omnivore with slight carnivore leanings(based on looking at the digestive tract and comparing it to pure carnivores, herbivores, and full omnivores).
