Personal Concept Art: Anthropophagi
I haven't posted this here yet? Weeeeeiiird
Anyways, this is a cyborg-type thing I designed a few months back, and whether or not I'm really going to use it for any future projects is anyone's guess.
But I did manage to write up a brief backstory about how these things were invented:
[b]Combining the strategic mind of a top marine and the heightened reflexes and strength of a droid, Anthropophagi was one of the many underground experiments leading to bionic weapons. While the limbs are entirely mechanical, the main torso contains the main torso of a genetically altered being that surrounds an alloy skeleton with crucial organics kept protected under durable Cobaltsteel armour, enhanced muscle tissue can be seen joining the limbs at the shoulders & hips to add more flexibility in the movements.
Anthropophagi were originally going to be used as special ops or stealth missions, and to traverse terrains that would be considered too hazardous for even the hardest carbon-based marines.
Although further studies were discontinued as the ban on bioweapons was eventually put into place, research documents and many failed experiments made it into the hands of galactic weapon dealers, and eventually led to the manufacturing and distribution of Anthropohagi as personal assassins or assigned body guards.[/i]

I am indeed aware of this.
Also, it's not exactly a nice thing to do as a commenter to compare elements from an artist's own work to something else that looks similar, especially if that's going to be the only thing you're going to say in a comment. It's rather disrespectful to us content makers, since all you're saying to them is that their work isn't completely original.
This is an old design, and the weird shoulder wings are going to be removed and replaced with proper shoulder pads, but do keep in mind that it's incredibly annoying for us artists if you compare parts or the entire artwork itself with something else that also exists.

This looks amazing, just a bit of an advice. The background color is a bit strong, you might want to turn it down. Like not too bright, vivid color, as you have that vivid color on your cyborg. So people can focus more on him and not as a whole picture.
The elbow bothers me a bit. If you could add a section before the elbow part so it would look like it can spin, it would help with its design, since as I can see, he would move a bit like a T-Rex with that lack of mobility. ^^;
Sorry, I'm into becoming a concept art and I've been learning on my own, when I see other people in this fandom going for that, or at least one pic, I feel like I should also try my best to help them!

Thank you for all the advice, hun. Every little bit counts, but I will say that this is an old design and so a lot of things have been changed or fixed up.
Regardless, I always appreciate constructive criticism whenever it's due, and I must thanks you for speaking up and pointing these things out to me. It really does help me out c:
