A romantic pic. =) Yuna x Kimahri fanart. ^^ I'm a big Kimahri x Yuna supporter. x3
I decided doing FFX Yuna, instead of FFX-2 one. It's not that I hate her in X-2(because I love her both versions), I thought that...this scene would work better during the FFX storyline.
I hope you like it. ^^

Wow very pretty. I love the tones of color used in this.. it really makes it seem romantic. The musculature of Kimahri's arm is really well done too.
There was a time I rather liked the idea of Kimahri x Lulu, because of the scene where he carried her down the ship cables-- but Kimahri x Yuna makes a lot of sense, due to the protective relationship (especially because Lulu marries Wakka XD)

I strongly hold the belief that if you control the legions of heaven, hell, and everything in-between and prepare to become are martyr for the world, you have no right to act like the damsel-in-distress archetype, and if you do then you're only doing it because you're an attention-grabbing whore.
Garnet has been my 2nd favorite summoner-leading female in Final Fantasy, because she pretty much broke this archetype.
And while I'm at it, Final Fantasy X treads dangerously close to Final Fantasy 8 in terms of characters, by having most of the characters being completely unlikable as apposed to every character being unlikable. The only likable characters include:
Auron, because he's was the pinnacle of GAR and did that short soliloquy before the Zanarkand battle (attempts to avoid spoilers)
Lulu, because even though she was beaten with the Goth stick, she was sexy, mature, and was able to get away with this because she was specifically a Black Mage archetype to begin with
and Khimari for the most part, because he was a silent protagonist (up until the end of course, but I forgave that because he was a silent protagonist)

Argh... sad to find out that someone hates Subarashiki kono sekai (TWEWY/World ends with you), oh well. I have the game and I like it. ^^ mainly because it plays a lot like my favorite game series, Tales of ^_____^ oh well^^ I kinda wish that the people of square's games could all meet one day and get to know each other, but that's just me asking for MAJOR FANSERVICE! whatever, I guess I involved myself in something I shouldn't have been involved in again ^^;;;; ....Anyway, Great pic Bo!!! *needs to get FFX and FFXII*
I don't blame you. You can tell Nomura's grubby fingers were all over that damn game with anorexic teenagers running around being awesome. Only good characters out of TWEWY imo was Joshua and Hanekoma, because those 2 were the only ones who actually dressed sensibly. (and because of Joshua's snarky homosexual to consistantly piss off the "angsty little emo kid" main character.)
The thing is that I see The World Ends with You as a Kingdom Hearts Planet Bizarro Edition. But, as you like it, it wouldn't be much wise to tell the reasons why I don't like it, so..^^;;
I told you not to get angry with me because it seems everybody loves this game and I want to avoid fanboy/girl rage. ^^;;

you can tell me why you don't like it if you want ^_^ I have a friend who was saying that he didn't like most of the games I like (Sonic for example) and I was taking it all to heart, but I learned a month or two ago that they're OPINIONS, and everyone is entitled to have them, so it's ok to say what you want. I used to be a fanboy a long time ago, and I would get in a huff if anyone said anything against Sonic or Megaman, but one day it finally came to me: "I've almost lost friendships over videogame arguments, what am I doing?" and I stopped. I realized that I had confused people stating their opinions with people stating facts. So yeah... I was never angry with you for not liking TWEWY, even if it sounded that way. Please don't worry about it Bo. ^_^ 気にしないで下さい。
Terra was sort of a tragic character, her face reflecting her strife against her very existence. Amano sort of gave her a chinadoll-like facial structure, and Dissidia/FF6's remade CG cutscenes (PSX) reflected that. The in-game sprites were limited to so many pixels, so everybody just about had the same face, if ya look closely enough, so they had to do drastic changes from the initial design to differentiate Celes and Terra, both pivotal female characters in the story, from one another. They actually threw in a tribute to that with FFIX; Garnet/Dagger's hair was blonde in the Amano design, but was changed to brown like Terra's was to green in-game.
I'm sure that an alternate costume'll be available, where Terra's hair'll be green lol

It's actually great to know that Terra was chosen as FFVI hero in Dissidia. All the other heroes are males. Maybe it would be better to have chosen Yuna(which for me is the true heroin in FFX) instead of Tidus, but her nemesis would probably be Seymour Guado, who is pretty much despised by the fandom(not by me, though) and would also be another androgenous villain like Kuja and Emperor Palamecia.
Let's not think about FFX-2 Yuna. I appreciate Square for eliminating the middle man and established that she was whore, but using Charlie's Angels as the main inspiration for a Final Fantasy game almost established that the storyline was going to suck bawles. Actually it was surprising to see how well it ripped off Charlie's Angels to where the only likable character was Lucy Liu (Paine) :D
lol I dunno, I liked it. Yuna was rather airheaded, which I didn't feel was IC, but all in all, it worked. the underlying storyline was actually a good cap on X, and it felt right, though it was admittedly a bold direction for the installment of the series.
Yuna, a whore? Nah, throughout, she as pretty much for Tidus. Guys kept hitting on her, but she was pretty good with staving them off and ending up with Tidus at the end of X-2

The interesting aspec of FFVI was that it was comprised of many stories to tell one major one, instead of following one or two protagonists, and having others sort of get wrapped up in their major story. FFIV was sort of like this, but still had a hard focus on Cecil and Kain.
Terra was chosen, because she was the epitome of what Kefka wanted. Some can argue that Celes was Kefka's rival, but it was more Celes/Gestahl, and Locke was more of a supporter than a main character, though he was pretty prominent in the story.
Yuna was in fact that main focus of FFX, but it was told through Tidus' perspective, making him a support character, but our inlet to the world of Spira through our and his associably new eyes. Tidus vs Jecht is a little more strong with the rivalry, as was what made the final battle so much more powerful than fighting Seymour for the eighth time. Granted, they tried to make Seymour akin to Kefka with his mass-destruction and trickery, but, outside of the fight on Gagazet, none of the fights with him had much power behind it. He eventually became his mindless "DestroyTheWorld" puppet by the final battle in Sin, and it was just time for him to go, pretty much how Yuna explained it, when she Sent him afterwards. Jecht's story was much more tragic, and geightened by Tidus' discovery of their ultimate truth of being Fayth

It wasn't so much of the Tragic that I didn't like but more of the Adelle that i hated. We're pretty much to the point where a lot of Nomura's designs are starting to get same-y.
And I do get the reasoning behind it. :\
It's more of a fixation on Amano's work transitioned into Nomura's that really bugs me. Yes, I understand how androgynous most of the characters done by Amano, I think doing it in extra-fancy special watercolor makes it both aesthetically appealing, and easier to accept :D

Actually, Terra (or Tina in the Japanese vers.) has always been blond :< I was a little shocked to see it at first, but she's never been green-haired in any of the artwork or the cinematics they made for the ps version. It must have been a long-ago mess up that they never uncovered.
Personally, however, I do enjoy the green hair XD

I love how you got Kimhari to emote here, which is something I know is extremely difficult, what with his particular facial features the way they are, and him usually just looking angry under all circumstances. (which is what I guess directors who've dealt with Clint Eastwood also have to deal with.) I'm guessing you did an over-the-shoulder shot on purpose so that you could focus mainly on his eye, which is where said subtle emotion is coming from.
And, uh... Yuna looks pretty awesome, too! Splayed about hair is sexy.
