In Furry Fandom you are able to get in contact with very difficult people who have strong challanges to live their life. People who had many uneasy issues to handle with in their past. This inflicts their present also very often and sometimes you are yourself have to control yourself good to not also act like a complete fool. We all have to work on ourselfes to develope to well behaving human beings even if we are creating a fursona animal to represent ourselfes here in Furry Fandom and around fellow Furries we have as friends.

But on the other hand our fandom is so full of most creative people that are not only great musicians, drawers, authors, storytellers, sewers of fursuits or plushies, film makers, actors and so on. Those people create stuff and let the world shine a bit more in good lights everytime they do that creative things they do.

I was since september 1999 when I first found Furry Fandom never a person who created stuff that more than close friends are able to recognize. Ok, people tell others about me that I are really good in making face noises and some guys told something that sounded like a praise when they talked about my singing voice. A little you can say that this is a way of doing creative work. But I never followed that path to go bigger so all the time I am only here, taking part in our fandom, get known to people, make friends and just breathe air away when attending at conventions or meets.

"Thank you, creative Furries, for doing your creative stuff and bringing us all the joy you bring to us!", I was thinking many times since that almost sixteen years now. But only thinking is not enough. Nobody can hear thoughts, so you got to act.

Half a year ago I decided I wanted to give something back to the creative people. So I chose my friend Fox here as a target to get that thank you representative for all the great stuff I was blessed to got in contact with in our fandom and asked Lofi for a commission. I was glad he accepted and that everything turned out so frikkin' great as it is now.

That almost two month after Lofi finished this marvellous piece of art until Eurofurence 21 was held last week here in Berlin, where I am living, was a hard time to wait. The anticipation to be able to see Fox again in real life to surprise him was almost unbearable. Well, almost. I am 35 years old, therefore grown up and sometimes I even act like that. So I was able to manage to get through that time.

Long story short: The anticipation was it more than worth feeling the joy and seeing it on Fox' face. Happy lion is happy.
