I don't often get to say this... But I LOVE images like these, depicting characters like ours in a daily setting like basic shopping.
Oftentimes, when people design a character, I find it's to fulfill some fantasy (what kind of fantasy that is, I'll leave that to your imagination). Whenever I see scenes like this, it just makes them seem more real, doesn't it?

To be honest, I'm guilty of both of those things. A few characters of mine, I.e Ruby, Kajsa, Anna, I created with something lewd in mind. (Though Kajsa was more that I just wanted a big Zangoose since they're my fav normal type) But over time, my writing changed from 100% sex to pretty much no sex at all and just slice of life stuff. While I get some nsfw commissions, most of them are sfw as you can tell in my profile if you turn on sfw.

You know what, I'm beginning to think I'm in the same transitional phase you went through. Increasingly, my own characters, while designed to fit fetishes, always end up having some complexity about them that makes them more than just a channel for the fetish. I can throw them into an unfamiliar (and unsexy) situation and they'd still flourish, without looking out of place. This is to the point that I get uncomfortable if they DON'T have that complexity.
