This is a doodle i did of the titular characters from the short "My Dog Zero", this 1991 test pilot ended up leading to the creation of Rocko's Modern Life two years later. This is my personal favorite of Joe Murray's pilot films, you can clearly tell that the groundwork for Rocko was there from the start. Even the guy's little white dog bears a passing resemblance to Spunky.
