Rule 1: Don't meddle with dragon magic.
Rule 2: Don't have a conniving, trouble-making faerie dragon for a stepbrother.
Rule 3: Work with what you got!
So, yeah, THIS is what happens when you watch too many cartoons with your pup. Apparently ya turn into one! So it seems that DJ (my son) wondered what it would be like to be a cartoon. He even wished I was a cartoon just so he could brag to his playmates at elementary school about how cool I was. I mean, shoot, I was already hip and cool! It kinda hurt that I heard DJ say that.
So, being the dumbass that I am, I went to my stepbrother, Echolorial. I asked him if there was a spell to turn me into a cartoon character for maybe 24 hours. I didn't like that sly, smug look on his face. About an hour later, he came back with Soren's spellbook. Next thing I know, I'm pretty much...shrunk down with a high, squeaky voice and a ridiculous toon mass of muscle.
I went to show DJ and he just sort of looked at me like I popped out of the television. A moment went by and he said he wanted his real Daddy back. He said that, despite being a toon, he was happy with what he had. He didn't want a cartoon for a dad, because being real was all that mattered to him. He said he was sorry, and said that he didn't want me to ever change who I was for his sake. Pups. Heh, what you gonna do?
So, yeah, I managed to live 24 hours as a toon dog. I gotta say, it wasn't too bad. It was certainly interesting. I might save this form for later on to test it out. #LOL
