Even though it was only 95% finished (I didnt get the chance to do the final detailing and shaving/sculpting of the suit) - my first fullsuit creation debuted at MFF 2008. He's the Brumby from the Dogs Days comic by 
blotch - I made him so Mbala could run around with Diego and enjoy their crazy costuming shenanigans. ;)
He's a zorse (zebra x horse hybrid).
Once I'm all done, I'll get some clear photos of the whole suit and post those - including the hand hooves and foot hooves. (Clompy!)
Also - this photo was sent to me, I'm not sure who it belongs to. So if you took it and would like credit or don't want me to use it just drop me a note! Otherwise thank you, I didn't get the chance to take my camera around the convention like I would have liked to!

Unfortunately MFF is probably going to be our only convention - though we may try to make it out to EF (Mbala's family lives in Europe). Maybe some years in the future I'll get back into the other shows but for now it's just too expensive to get out there. :>
As for smoothwalkers, I'm not sure what those are! I built his hooves over a walking shoe and the hard plastic-resin sculpted hoof part moves, since its hollowed on the bottom and shaped like a horse foot it makes a really nice sharp clomp when he walks. :) The nicest thing is because it moves, too, you can walk gently and barely make any noise or you can really stomp around!

Smoothwalkers are specially designed horse-shoes that are made for police horses in cities. They're heavy and rubber coated, allowing them to walk on delicate surfaces (Tile, marble, etc) without any damage.
My hooves are made out of metal, so along with the smoothwalkers they make a hearty "clop!" with every step I make. X) The weight takes some getting used to though. I'd have to look and see if I have a picture of them sitting somewhere. I wish I had a mask as nice as yours, though!
