A small group of adventurers/scavengers take a rest and think about their plan, after arriving to a location which's coordinates they managed to acquire, before proceeding into the area.
It seems to be one of the many outpost towns that got deserted and partially destroyed in the Donothar-Xathid war, mostly by seismic bombing.
After decades of disrepair, and damage from the unstable conditions of planet Xath's ravaged surface, there is still a good chance of finding valuable tech and resources in these buildings and the attached underground complex, if someone manages to enter and, better yet, is lucky enough to not encounter hidden dangers that reside within these objects.

Irritable wildlife, still functional security measures, unexploded ordnance, traps left over from war-times, unstable structures, unstable geology and plain old hazardous conditions- everything you could possibly wish to avoid while on a (hopefully) lucrative adventure! I presume that's lava? I find the human's head to be a bit oddly shaped, but otherwise it looks good!
Indeed, being a scavenger on Xath is not an easy business at all, not like living on that planet is easy in the first place...
And one can only hope that the original inhabitants, and especially their past leaders, the Iixathid, are long gone.
And yep, the outer layers of the planet's crust were heavily damaged by the immense seismic bombing by the Donothat, thus even decades after the war, lava flows can emerge, or resurface in the same place.
Earthquakes are also common, although the refugee colonies (dome cities usually, such as the one these guys came from) tend to be in relatively stable regions.
By the way, after looking more at skull references, I've adjusted the human's head a little, not an easy thing to get right for someone that doesn't focus on human drawings much :)
Thanks for your comment!
