For this final "Throwback Thursday" of August, 2015, I have a couple of photo-ops I'd taken back in the late 1990s, when I'd visited ZooMiami (when it was still known - at the time - as the Miami Metrozoo), accompanied this time by a female friend of mine from NYC, Linda Maris Skwer...

Linda originally came down to visit her mother, who lived in a retirement home in Broward County, but she managed to have enough spare time for me to pick her up and take her down to Miami-Dade County - to check out some of the sights, which included ZooMiami...

Among the many animals we saw at the zoo were a pride of lions (one male and two females), roaming around their enclosure - which I'd managed to take a picture of with my 35mm camera.
