You know... I'm almost afraid to adopt animals. Well everyone says 'pets dying shouldn't be sad, they're not people' is really the exact opposite of how I'd feel. See I think pets dying actually coukd be sadder. See I'm Christian and believe than when a friend or family member dies, you can reconnect with him or her in Heaven, but with pets, I'm not sure. I'm honestly not sure if animals go to Heaven or not, they probably don't but I still think they possibly do, probably differently than humans but still, and if they don't, then that means it would be gone forever... That makes me really worried and sad...
Yeah I understand. I had an 18 year old cat die recently and I cried for 3 days straight. I've never cried so much for losing anyone.
I've read a lot of the Bible and I've never seen anything that says that animals aren't in Heaven. I could be wrong though (I'm no expert lol). I guess it just depends on what you believe. Every sect has a different opinion. I'd like to think that God would spare animals as well since He created them.

I know animals are in Heaven for sure, but they were literally born in Heaven. Whether animals ascend is up for debate. They might, they really could, but it wouldn't be the same way as humans do, for all we know animals probably went to Heaven even before Jesus's came to Earth because they never were held to the same standards as Adam and Eve were and therefore not cursed by sin. But this could just be a theory, I honestly don't know. I do know that there will be a cat in Heaven that is exactly like the one that you said died in every single way, but that would probably be a different one (sense Heaven is infinite, then there's an infinite amount of creatures there in an infinite amount if possibilities, including ones like dead pets) But that gets me worried, humans can meet up in Heaven for sure, but with pets it's harder to know.
