my one issue with it is that I couldn't tell that the guitar was supposed to be guitar, because it sounded so obviously synthetic. but that's ok, because it's still such a peaceful and sweet melody, and it reminds me of some of my favourite ambient songs in the FFX video game. :)

Thanks. I know the guitar doesn't sound very realistic, but it's the best I can do with what's available to me. Properly replicating guitars is a big challenge for keyboards in my price-range (you think this sounds synthetic, try the electric guitar settings on this thing). Nonetheless I'm glad you liked it and I am extremely flattered by the FFX comparison: Nobuo Uematsu is one of my musical idols, and being reminiscent of his work is damn near the biggest compliment you can get in my book. So thank you for that: it's the kind of feedback that keeps me going.

I totally getcha. I don't even have a way to get it as good as yuo, which is why I don't bother. I refuse to upload the only sounds I can make. I want to eventually get a .wav converter, a microphone, and hire a guitarist and a cellist. I can do the piano, drums, and singing myself. but all of this will be fucking expensive, and I just don't have the funds for it. so I feel you.

but I am so glad that you are that big of a Nobuo Uematsu fan! :D I love his work, absolutely adore it. he's a musical genius, as far as I am concerned. and I thought that the synthetic acoustic guitar sound was perfect as it is, because it's almost exactly like the way it sounds in his music. it's uncanny!
