In the jungle, at the topmost sheltered branches of the trees a thin Fossa lay relaxing as sunlight beamed through the leaves, dappling the ancient old tree in warm, soft golden light. The sweet smell of strawberries and mango filled the air thickly with a mouthwatering scent; for this Fossa at least. Typically a Fossa was meant to be a fearsome carnivorous predator, however this odd outcast found himself much more drawn to fruits than he was flesh, plus with his laid back attitude most of the time fruit was much less of a trouble to collect than a full meal of flesh was. This made the young Fossa quite thin and looking underfed but really? He often laid back in his favorite tree, surrounded by the fruit he collected and stashed feeling like a king. Yes, it was paradise for him; a lone bachelor who lived in paradise with no one's rules but his own to go by.
The occasional fight here and there, and even a kill or two when his predator drive kicked in. Nowhere better in the whole world.
I had ALOT of fun with this one honestly! And im pretty damn satisfied with the result.
Yes very, very, juicy fruits. Why? Because fantasy. This is how I imagine my favorite fruits are in my mind- extremely juicy, sparkly, and oozy.
