Vu is a character in my book Red Fox of Change. She is the lost sister to Cyan the Pirate. During the last conflict with the Empire She was lost in battle. Cyan was more than surprised to find her on a Slaver ship. While not visible in the art, Vu has a large scar on her belly off to one side where she was severely wounded in the battle. Tigers are well known for their ferocity in battle. When Vu woke up she found herself chained to a bed as she was being treated. Still in her condition the Empire takes no chances.

Later when she recovered enough she was sold at auction. The empire can never have enough slaves and a Tiger of her stature brings good gold. But the ones holding her had best be up to the task. The slavers guild themselves took her in and broke her and then trained her to do the same to others. Slaver trainers are mostly former and current slaves themselves and often after long service will be released to retire.

Vu wears the Jewelers guild Gold and Onyx collar of the slavers and has three earrings two top gold and bottom onyx that signify her as a master trainer. Now freed of being a slaver she is a full pirate and trusted officer of the pirate guild.

Gone are her carried cuffs and leash that most slaves carry. Not nearly as big or daunting as her sister Cyan she is still a dangerous foe in battle. Cyan's family has the rare Blue Tiger gene that shows up at any time with offspring. Still its a rarity among the Tiger clans.
