Hey guys!
For those of you who don't know, I'm a pretty big Pokémon fan, although I've never really made a successful attempt at drawing one (let alone painting one)! So I've made the effort to paint my favourite Water-type final evolution of a starting Pokémon and that would be the very magnificent Samurott!
Won't bother talking about how I've made this since nobody ever seems to be interested, but please feel free to ask if you'd like to know.
I hope you like it!

Yay, a technical question I can answer! I'm really happy that someone's showing interest in the technique. I was beginning to lose hope.
The background was stained with coffee since tea is a lot more colourful and coffee, I think, is more effective in making paper look aged. The tree is also painted with coffee, just less dilute to get that dark wood colour. The leaf effect is one I'm proud of although once again, the scanner didn't help! I mixed half diluted coffee, half water and then added a couple drops of ink. I did this twice, with green and yellow inks, then applied with a sponge.
Thanks so much though, I'm glad you like it!
