During my nearly-two-year stint as a 'toll collector' at the Oakland Park Boulevard plaza near Sunrise, Florida, During lulls (when no cars arrived), I used to doodle lots of 'fat furry' images on the back of these D.O.T. fliers (that were supposed to be handed out to motorists, but many of them refused to accept them).
One of the subjects of these doodles was 'Truck the Polar Bear' - who I used to have chats with on Instant Messenger. At that time, 'Truck' was a trucker, usually delivering liquid goods (petrol, milk, etc.) in multi-wheeled tankers. So, naturally, I came up with a pair of images of the portly polar bear in his driver's uniform. This is the first of the two images...

The closest thing to having an occupation like that was when I delivered auto parts in a pick-up truck over four years ago. I got to see parts of Broward and Palm Beach Counties; but (like my current gig as a janitor) it has a low weekly salary and very little benefits...
