Wow... it that an actual Foxf-Chron. update I see? Really? Man, that takes me waaay back... we sure had some good times on the CWM forums, huh? Seems like forever ago... how you doin' these days, you old salt? Not so great, it sounds. Good to see you're getting back into it. X3
Cool... sounds like I'm not the only one who did some chilling out. I gotta admit I did learn a lot from your comments back in the ToA... namely, to be more demanding of my work, and how not to write critique. Both of these things have served me well. X3
In all seriousness, I got introspective, and would analyze exactly what it was about your comments set me off, and what kind of things I wanted from constructive criticism, then used that to figure out how to write less antagonistic and more useful critique for people. I've done a lot to help a whole lot of people since then, so some good came from all of it, and you deserve some of the credit for that. :3
Also: I had a stroke almost two years ago, and landed in the hospital for about 4 or 5 months, so I can sympathize with having to go through the recovery process. Pretty well all my drawing skills completely rusted away to nothing during my time in the hospital. Fortunately, I got off lucky and there wasn't any permanent damage of significance from the stroke: basically all my mental facilities and motor functions are intact, and my drawing is coming back bit by bit.
Also also: while I was in the hospital, they sorted out a proper management plan for my diabetes, and my blood sugar levels are much more even these days, which significantly enhances my mellowness. X3
