Black Holes and Black Wings

Painting with acrylics. I just woke up this morning and had to paint it. It wouldn't let me do anything else. So I grabbed my stuff and started.

Finished in about 2 hours. CD is there for size comparison.

Sorry about the glare. Guh, I hate pictures.

I'd forgotten how much I love to paint.

I'm just weak for things like this...I like the smaller aspects of this like the bloody hands and the red on the bottom of the robe. the best thing though, is te curves of the wings and how natrual it looks

Aww, thank you so much love!! I really tried to make them smooth like that, to really get the SHAPE right - the texture was cool, but not as important.

So deliciously evil and.. stuff. I like it a lot :)
Fun Fact: The title immediately reminded me of some band's album name: Black Holes and Revelations. No real point in it, I just thought it was interesting for some reason.
