I had some gaiters and a field jacket from WWII that I had gotten from a surplus store as a kid. I wore the jacket out when I went camping with the Boy Scouts, but it was lost (probably thrown out by my parents) once it started getting really ratty.
The gaiters I gave to a friend.
Now I'm starting to give serious thought to joining a reenacting group as a member of the SS Panzer corps. Slightly different... :-P
