for everyone who has played S.T.A.L.K.E.R. you all know that sooner or later your gonna be overburdened by all the loot your gonna be collecting from your constant engagements with bad guys or looting secret underground labs and facilities. unless youve got an exoskeleton you wont be able to carry a lot of stuff you could sell for cash. and even when you get an exoskeleton your gonna still be loaded with too much stuff. so its always a good idea to bring along a pack mul- i mean... partner! along with you for whom you can spread the load of all those guns, armor, ammo, food, meds, random stuff... artifacts until you can make it to some place where you can offload your ill-gotten items. trust me the majority of the stuff you might get in s.t.a.l.k.e.r. is most likely taken from someone's corpse. >D

no problem for vanessa... she's been looting the dead she shot ever since she got into the zone. here she's got a friend to carry most of the heavier loot for her whilst she carries the more essential things like... artifacts. and maybe more bread. good on ya sir... who knows she might be able to return the favor privately... if you know what i mean...
