
The Bücker Bü-131 Jungmann was the last biplane build in Germany and the most spread training aircraft in this country, it was used as well in the flying club than in the Luftwaffe because of its high manoeuvrability and its capacity to the aerobatics. During WWII, 2000 exemples were built by Aero at Prague.
This one is a Bü-131B, serial number 27, registration F-AZVK, built in May 1935 in Germany before to be send in Switzerland for be used in the Zurich Flying Club where it will have the registration HB-EKA. Between 1943 and 1945, it served in the Swiss Air Force as the A-90 for the training of the pilots before to come back at the flying club of Zurich. In 1956, it's bought by a German, collector of Bücker who will make it come in Germany under the registration D-EKLA and was bought by an American in 1960, it will cross the Atlantic and be motorised with a Lycoming engine of 160hp and will receive the registration N88JG. In 2010, it's bought by a French who made it comes on the airport of Dijon where it flies under its actual registration.
