I know the perspective is off here and is looks like a little wall. I it is really about 40 feet from the water at the bottom to the top.
th other side of the spill way is dry form the drought and people had been camping out on the lake bed where the water was over 600 feet away.



EDIT: the telephone pole to the fare left is even with the end of the spill way.
