That would be me.
I spent about my entire summer vacation learning to draw people, and then canids. Three months ago i hadn't ever done either.
Thus, this is a first in many things, also the first thing I've drawn AND ever put on the internet.
I myself am pretty happy with how it turned out (It took 67 hours from scratch, i kept track.) I know it has flaws, but hey.. So does my real face. So if you need to criticize, please be constructive.

This is the last thing I would have expected a comment on ^^
I always forget that I've posted things that are that old by now (mostly because I don't like looking at them anymore myself - like any artist) so this was a surprise!
As for getting better... yes, but not quite as much as I would have hoped. But that's a work in progress ^^
