this is Beastcub, an character in a book i started in the 7th grade.



the book was called Twin Scars and is about this world similar to earth except the gods created the Beasts which kept humans (who's evolution was sped up by another god thus sending them out of balance with the rest of nature, hence why here on earth most creatures tend to perish at our hands as they cannot keep up with our evolutionary speed) in check. the one goddess got bored and put Beast souls in Human bodies which created an new imbalance, eventually these Beast-type humans took on Beast traits (anthro beasts, i honestly made this story up LONG before i had heard of furries which is another sign of how well i fit in here) they are born looking human and the traits advance with age BUT the original 50 beast souls are neutral as they were not actually born into their forms and thus never imprinted (a beast-type with fur and tail and such will be born as whatever species that soul was first born as even if they were born to human parents of which still happens from time to time) and will not change the human body over time resulting in a new conflict as they must prove themselves worthy of the name Beast by getting an initiation scar over their eye, and that is the point of the story as twin bro/sis Meka and Durin who were born to human parents must prove themselves as Beasts.

Beasts are a combo of many animals, and have the life span of a tree, they also have the hands and intelligence of a human and their sense for culture and tradition, however the gods were wise and deleted the certain human mind-sets such as revenge, spite and arrogance as they caused so many problems in humans.



sadly this story will likely never be published, my grammar, spelling and tense are terrible and more importantly the story has become so long and jumbled i faer i will never straigten it out as it takes hours for me to even read what i have let alone try to edit and add in all the missing chunks and fix the loop holes (started as a 20 page story that i have been expanding upon).



anyway Beastcub here (my name sake) was to be added in a future/sequel book, she was an orphan who wandered into the clan, she never gave anyone her name and young beasts are called cubs or more respectfully beast cub (like calling her "young lady" instead of "kid") so over time that became her name and as an adult she was still refferred to as "Beastcub"

she basically was my "fursona" before i eve knew what that was as i modeled her after me. she sports my eye color IRL and my fave coloration, the same colors as the beast bust i made http://www.beastcub.com/apps/photos.....979&prev=1 (that is Turren, he is not related to her but is the same species, females shed their antlers in the winter) which is also PurrsnicKitty's color. she also sports some of my better qualities like being very understanding and a live-and-let live person, is very creativve in how she thinks and how she makes things, she lives life to the fullest and tires to live live day by day and make each day happy (in the sotry there are hints to a dark past and the death of her original clan but that does not reflect me IRL) is artistic and easy to get along with.
and she also has my stranger and not-so-awsome personality qualities such as being greedy about food (especially something special...hand me a lemon merang pie and just try to take it back from me) hates mornings, is almost nocturnal (not normal for her breed which is a Chakreh, Marmex is a beast-type Nightstalker who are nocturnal by nature...Marmex is my fave character i just love my little creation) has some major mood swings, is very stubborn and is admittingly lazy unless it is something that interests her.



i plan to build a mask of her with removable antlers.
