Also, is it weird/bad that Lessor kinda gives me a similar vibe that Howl (from Howl's Moving Castle) did? Not saying they're super alike, but when Howl was first introduced (in the book and the movie), he did have a mysterious side to him that made you wonder just what dark arts he was up to. Even though he was blonde at that part. WHATEVS. x3

Looks like someone joined the pixel side. This looks great, very colorful and I think that if you ever get the chance, you should feature him in an indie sprite game. He'd be one heck of a magic user.
