Another illustration for his story "Thieves". This is the story insert:

" A pair of light footsteps could barely be heard in the courtyard of the castle as two figures moved toward the main gate. Sly and Maneki walked together, she on her leash behind him as they went. She still felt embarrassed to be led around on the restraining length, but at least she was clothed and unbound this time. She wore a simple comfortable blouse and pants with a hooded cloak. He wore his normal caped vest, pants, and hat. Her attention drew to a few of the guards and maids that gave her sideways glances as they went, snickering to themselves quietly. She knew that Sly had put her on the leash to continue to show his dominance. She was already getting used to the treatment, and that fact unnerved her just a bit.

He’d said that he wanted her to accompany him to get some morning exercise with a brisk walk around the castle grounds and snapped the leash on her collar before they’d set out. She figured they were done as they were heading to the main exit. She gasped lightly as the male came to a stop in front of her; she stopping too. The calico shifted on her feet as she wrestled with herself on whether to ask a question or not. “Um…Master…Is the leash really necessary?” she asked hesitantly. She didn’t want to question him, but he had told Alice that they were going to Locke Village. The castle was one thing, but she really didn’t think she could handle the humiliation of him lording his defeat over her like this in public. “Yes. I did say we were going on a walk didn’t I? Why? Uncomfortable?” he asked raising an eyebrow. “Y-Yes…I…don’t like being on a leash. Especially in public.” she replied truthfully, blushing lightly. “Well you’re going to have to get used to it. But for right now I will cut you a deal.” he said, her ears perking as she heard him. “A deal Master?” she asked intrigued. “Yes. We’re going to be taking a trip into Locke Village today. I’ll take you off of the leash if you can agree to one stipulation.” he said. “What stipulation is that Master?” she asked a little hesitantly. “I am also going to be adding the tracking rune to your collar and tail cuff on the way there. I don’t want any problems from you during the process. Is that clear?” he said seriously. “Y-Yes Master.” replied the calico quickly. Just as she finished her sentence, the same carriage that had taken them to Bartholomew’s castle the day before rolled around the corner and came to a stop before them. "
