This took a long time, but I like the result. I don't get to do backgrounds too often, but they're fun to do. It's a basic three-point perspective "shoebox' room, which is a look I actually quite like for pictures. People tell me I'm good at backgrounds, but I really don't feel like I do anything special... I basically just keep the rules of perspective in mind and try not to skimp on the details. Of late I feel like I've improved a ways and have started to utilize the foreground more effectively... Which is ironically nonexistent in this pic do t the nature of a shoebox room.
