Well, you definitely SHOULD be proud of this! Wow! All of the little details that you put into this illustration really bring it together. My eyes wander around the image, staring at everything. At the same time, I do not feel as if you cluttered the image with too much detail. On the contrary, I think you put in just the right amount to keep the viewer staring for a long time.

That said, the little bit of color that you allowed into the mostly black and white piece really makes this illustration pop. Great impact!

What is the story behind this piece, if I may ask?

This is one's girl from dA Orginal Character. Normally it's some kind of boring-as-every-other gothic lolita. And she made contest for people to draw her.

I've seen entries so far, and they simply were all as boring as orginal model xD SO i decided to add a bit of spice, blood and good shading to it ;>

I thought about some kind of demon, some evil force inside of her. :) Coming to kill you just for pleasure. You see like everything around you gets black and white, only that apple she gives you, so red, so tempting... ;> And then (orginal character likes stars), that beautiful Morningstar she holds, is working allover you ;>

Wow. Excellent shading and textures. I really love the mood of this piece. The wind blowing the curtains, the cemetary in the background, and just her overall creepiness all work beautifully together. And of course, the red apple amidst all the other gray and black is the wonderful icing on the cake. Great job with this. :)
