Painting I did in 2004 in egg oil tempera

It's a portrait of the Swedish punk rock group ONKEL KÅNKEL AND HIS KÅNKELBÄR=UNCLE DINGLE AND HIS DINGLEBERRIES or rather a portrait of their cartoon alter egos Onkel Kånkel=Uncle Dingle, CP (Cerebral Palsy) Sven, Epilepsi- Kurt=Epileptic-Kurt, Stomi-Bertil=Stoma-Bertil and Arne Tammer.

In a way they where like a Swedish GG-ALLIN, ANAL CUNT or DVDA so you're can imagine that their lyrics weren't kiddiefriendly.

As a kid a classmate at school had a cassette whit them that we used to gather around and listen to.
I enjoyed it because it felt like I was doing something forbidden giggling to their fucked up songs.
During music class once a week one of us had to do a project about an artist/group/composer etc and had to bring an music piece for the class to listen to.
When it was my classmates turn he of course choosed Onkel Kånkel and played this song in the cassette player.

Onkel, the groups frontman (real name Håkan Florå) died 15th of August 2009 at the age of 47.
