It's the 1st of Decemeber! :)
That means it's time for another Advent Calendar!

I don't know which other countries have this habit, but here (Germany) we have an Advent Calendar with 24 little doors (usually filled with chocolate), and you open 1 door each day - until Christmas. :)
So here is my calendar for you (with little pictures/animations/photos). Each day you may open another door (Info: The new door for the next day will be unlocked at midnight, local time in Germany! This means, you may have some hours time difference depending on where you live).
I hope you like it. ^^

We do? I've never seen it here, I thought it was another silly American thing actually. Anyway, you can't spend time on the internet and not learn about this so I was aware of the concept. I find it amusing, though I can't be bothered with getting one for myself. They pop up all over the internet in December anyway :)
They sell tons of ’em here in the States; I can remember them all the way back to my childhood. And, of course, I remember them from the years I lived in (then West) Germany, almost forty years ago. One thing I’ve never figured out is the apparently random distribution of dates and “doors”.
Most of the Advent calendars I see in the stores are . . . tacky, unfortunately.
