The Chronicles Of Lycan: Timely Echoes

Lycan: "With my greatest enemy vanquished and Ulysses avenged, there is a chance that I can now live a real life with my newfound family and my daughter, Rogue, to the closest thing to normal."

"Life is full of surprises and wonders that can take a simple day and completely turn it upside down in a heartbeat, and before you know it, you find yourself on a journey intertwined with an unknown fate...."

Chapter One: Home

Lycan in his wolf form, walks through a portal and straight to Dawns house. Drawing near the door swings open and Rogue runs to him in her wolf form as well. She licks his face then puts her head on the back of Lycans neck. "Daddy.... I missed you so much!" Lycan sits with a chuckle. "I can see that my dear, your aura is overflowing!" He smiles as Dawn steps out of the house and runs to them, hugging Lycan tightly. "Lycan! Hi boy!" Lycan wags his tail looking up at her. "I missed the both of you too!" Rogue and Dawn let go of him, taking a step back. "So what brings you here, Lycan?" Lycan puts his paw on Rogues head. "To fulfill my promise and help train my daughter." He brightly smiles then Dawn waves to them at the front door already. "Then let's start! I want to see this!" Lycan and Rogue run after her and go into the living room and sit with Dawn. Lycan speaks up. " Rogue, seeing that you already know how to wield the power of the elements mean you have passed the first step, however, that leaves only four more lessons, are you ready?" Rogue nods excitedly. "Yes Daddy!" "Then.... let's start!"

Chapter Two: Like Father, Like Daughter

"Ok, Rogue, as you know you can control the elements through your imaginations limits, but you can only manipulate so much due to a radius that grows as you mature. That being said, there are two elements that require a huge amount of energy. Normally our species could only control one element per wolf, but in rare occasions before a disaster there is a wolf born who can master all of the elements only at the cost of his or her vision, but you my dear are different because you can see and are from my DNA, thus making you extremely powerful."

"Now, my dear, the two elements that I shall teach you about are space and time, but first I am going to teach you a few tricks that I picked up during my journeys, but where to begin....." He looks at her then Dawn, both staring at him intensely. Rogues ears perk up hearing him continue. "Ah yes, let's begin with healing, now Rogue watch carefully...." Lycan bites his leg and it starts to bleed. He takes his other paw and turns it to pure water, then holds his paw on the wound as he continues to speak. "Imagine this pure water flowing into the wound and filling it, then imagine it looking like it should and..." He removes his paw revealing the perfectly healed wound. "....your done, now you try!"
Rogue nods as Lycan bites his leg again. Her paw turns to water and heals him rather quickly as Lycan looks amazed at her. "....Rogue...." He puts pressure on his leg then sits again. "....you're a natural! Not only did you heal it but it appears that that you enhanced the muscles as well!" Rogue wags her tail as Dawn claps her hands. "Good job Rogue!"
Lycan shakes his head then clears his throat. "Ok now that, that is complete let's move on. The next two lessons I am going to combine into one. Both should be rather easy for you to handle; and these are your human form and the ability to grow..." "....Grow?" Dawn and Rogue look at Lycan puzzled while asking. He sighs then starts to speak again. "You'll see once we are at that point.... Now where was I?.....Oh, I remember! Ahem, when you desire to turn human all you do is focus on what you think you will look like, then see from her point of view, ok?" Rogue closes her eyes and starts to imagine herself as a human. Shortly after she opens her eyes seeing Dawn yelling at Lycan as she holds a towel in front of her. "LYCAN DON'T LOOK!?" "WHATS WRONG, SHE'S MY DAUGHTER!?" "YOU SHOULD HAVE TOLD HER SHE WAS GOING TO BE NAKED!?" He smiles and sheepishly shrugs. "Guess I forgot?" Dawn yells at him. "GUESS MY ASS! IT'S ALMOST LIKE-" They stop seeing her blushing then turn back to wolf form. After a brief moment Lycan takes a breath and says. "Ok... Next time don't forget to imagine clothes...." She nods shyly as he clears his throat. "Ok, growing is rather simple. It is similar to healing, but you are using the water within you to expand or shrink, like so." He grows to 12 ft., hitting his head on the ceiling then goes back to normal. "Ok, your turn." She starts to focus and grows a few feet then recedes to normal. "Could use some practice, but that was great for your first attempt!" He smiles then Rogue raises her paw before he can continue. "Daddy, I have two questions!" Lycan tilts his head. "Yes dear?" "What happens when I run out of energy?" "Well, what happens is that our bodies turn to a pup version of ourselves as a defense, and nobody knows why, not even me...." "Oh...." She paws to his face. "....And daddy, howl do you see?" He playfully bites her paw then answers. "You see, every object within my sight is outlined and the inside is a very dark color, while living things are colored in by how they feel and the size is how strong they are, but I learned to use the elements to "feel" everything in my radius, so in a way I might not be considered blind..." Rogue looks at him confused, then Lycan laughs. "It's ok! Let's move onto the last lesson...." Rogue nods, really wanting to partake.

Chapter Three: Beyond Space, Beyond Time
Lycan smiles sweetly to her. "Ok, the last lesson is about space and time. Both very dangerous and powerful forces. So powerful infact that it is recommended to use each once a week. That is the rule that I follow and as you should too for two reasons. One being that they can cause paradoxes and other anomalies, and two is that you can die from using them too often..." He trails off as Rogue's ears flatten. "O-oh....I'll be careful daddy!" She licks his gas as Dawn watches her act sweetly to him "Soo cute...." Dawn smiles. Lycan perks up his tail swaying. "Alright.... It going to be very hard at first, so don't expect to master it on your first try!" He pats her head continuing. "First things first, you have to be relaxed and focused, ok?" She nods and takes a deep breath. "Now what?" Dawn asks tilting her head. "SHHH?!" Lycan interrupts then continues. "As I was saying, now to use it you have to think of one of the various ways to go back or forward in time.... Going back is easy, just imagine your past, the future on the other hand is harder to deal with, and for that you can form a bubble around you that freezes time while the time outside fast forwards. That's time basically and space is different for that you have to focus on the place you want to be or where you want to send an object, aside from that black holes are easy you just focus on everything getting sucked into one place and vanish. Got all of th-??" He watches her as she starts to use what she taught him, Lycan starts to glow as the house shakes then he vanishes from sight, Dawn screams. "LYCAN!?!?" Rogue falls to the floor passed out from exhaustion as all goes silent.

Slowly Lycan awakes and looks around finding himself in dawns house but it looks more manly. He starts to hear whispers in the next room and hides peeking around the corner his eyes wide in shock. "Rogue baby girl....what the hell did you do...."

Chapter Four: Different Place, Same Time.

He watches shocked his face pale. "What....the hell...." Watching he sees a large man with blonde, short, straight hair, who looked rather muscular, sitting with them are a male and a female wolf. The female with white eyes and back, with her face and stomach black. The other a small male with light purple and white fur on him. The female wolf announces. "Ok baby boy lets give this a go!" "Ok mommy!" He pipes up then starts to use his power the female tears up starting to bawl. "T-that's my boy!?" The male human pipes up. "You can do it man!" He crosses his arms as the female glows and vanishes. He stands up. "Lycan!?" He grabs and shakes the male wolf. Where did you send her Rogue!?" Rogue squirms scared. "I-I don't know Donald!?" He drops him. "Dummy, hope she finds her way home..." "Shh!" Rogue interrupts then ties Lycan up with vines as he falls to the floor. Killing the vines he huffs and goes to them. Rogue growling and Domald pointing a gun at him. "Who are you and how did you get in here!?" Rogue barks. Lycan smiles softly, completely calm now understanding what is happening. "I'm Lycan and seeing what has happened you and my Rogue must have been learning from us at the same time and by the looks of it we switched places between two dimensions, understand?" They look at eachother and nod Rogue goes to Lycan and sniffs him then backs up. "Yep...that's Lycan..." Donald Looks at them very confused. "Huh, so she's a dude now...cool!" Lycan smacks him upside the head. "Shut up. I don't even like the idea that I was a woman..."He huffs. "So until then I will be staying here for a week, got it!?" He growls as they get low murmuring. "Yep, that's Lycan...." Donald speakes up. "Well there is one problem though... my fiancée is coming over any min-" Suddenly the door open and closes, Lycan turns to him growling. "YOUR ENGAGED!?" A girl come through the door closing it behind her, her hair brown, straight, and long. She runs to Donald and hugs him, followed up by a romantic kiss. Lycan growls very angrily whispering to himself. "She didn't tell me something like this!?" She looks at him and says. "I didn't know we would have company, who's this handsome pooch?" Donald sighs. "Sam....this is Lycan from another dimension..." She widens her eyes. "O-oh...that's.... Fun?" She says confused about it. Lycan still being pissed, pipes up trying to stay calm, his tail swishing. "I'll be having a nap, knowing that I can't go back and I am sure that the other me cannot as well, mainly due that we used space and time to get here and both Rouges used it too, so it's impossible..." He trails off headed to Donald's room and curls up into a pink Hello Kitty bed grumbleing angrily.

Chapter Five: An Odd Week.

Lycan: "And so a few days passed and all was rather similar to my dimension, making it a little easier to move on from day to day. Howlever, being that this dimension is gender swapped, still makes things rather hard to cooperate with, especially that big bulky brute Donald, who I will say creeps me out for some reason....But, no matter.

Eventhough I am fond of my dimension, this one is rather humorous in my standards. And now that I think of it...doesn't that make that Jesus character a woman...? No matter my point is that this place has little to no difference to my dimension and it is rather enjoyable to see your enemies women." He chuckles to himself. "Even now I remember my fifth day there, it was one of the few moments that I got to have bonding time with my new family..."

In Donald's backyard Lycan, Rouge, Donald, and Sam are playing frisbee with each other, each having a wonderful time playing around in the afternoon sun. Soon after they sit on her porch watching the sunset everyone talking and laughing inaudibly as the light fades away. Just as the last moment of light is snuffed out they lean on each other smiling. Lycan speaks quietly. "Howl I do wish every moment was like this..." "Ya..." The others agreed with slight nods as they all start to drift to sleep.

Chapter Six: Home At Last.

Lycan is found sitting in the living room with Donald, Sam, and Rogue. One by one he gives them a hug. "While I was here I had an amazing time...and I hope you don't forget about me!" Rogue hugs him last and tightly. "We won't..." He sniffles upset by the thought. "I better go... Who knows what has changed while I was away.... Bye!" They wave at him as he waves back and vanishes as the female Lycan replaces him. "Hi guys what did I miss?" They smile and hug her, as male Lycan hugs his group. "I missed and love you guys...." He tears up crying as the flashback fades away.

Lycan: "And so I was once again reunited with my family and we're happy as we could be. To myself this friendship could have lasted forever, or so I thought....."

Lycan having his arms around Sam and Dawn's neck starts to head for the exit then all goes silent as Lycans eyes widen and coughs up some blood, the light from his eyes fading as his chest starts to bleed where his heart is. Gripping his chest he falls over, Rogue catching him in her lap, he looks at her, his breathing labored. Rogue starts to cry, frozen. "D-daddy?" The masked man gets up and laughs holding a sonic gun. "Heh, always check your enemies.... since you killed the fake boss.....for I am the real one and now....nobody shall get in my way....Not. Even. You." He cocks his gun aiming it at Rouge, then shoots. It misses by an inch, Rogue not even phased by this starring at his dying father as two swords are plunged through his chest. "...wha-!?" He turns seeing Ulysses and stabbing him with his students right behind him then falls to his face with a loud thud. Ulysses sighs and looks at Lycan. "You poor fool... you were so concerned for your family you sacrificed yourself...." He closes his eyes seeing the bullet changing direction from Rogue's to his at the last second. Then opens his eyes again. Lycan lays in her lap gasping and groaning in pain as his body starts to glow with a blueish- white light and flake off to the sky. "I I'm sorry dear but this looks like the end...." He coughs then touches her cheek. "Grow strong....be happy....and don't make the same mistakes as I did....." His legs shatter into flakes of light and fly up vanishing as he closes his eyes his body glows brighter. Rogue screams in disbelief as Dawn and Sam hug and Ulysses and his students bow their heads. "DADDY!?!?" With a flash of light his body dissapears into the sky leaving behind his black collar that Dawn gave him. She picks it up and hugs it sobbing. "Daddy....w-WHY!?" Sam and Dawn go to her and pick her up as she squirms taking her home. "No! NO Daddy No!!!!!" Ulysses and his students vanish.

Chapter 7: The Vision.

A few months pass as Rogue sits on Dawn's bed holding Lycan's Collar close to her chest, with the door closed; looking older than before by about a year "Daddy....I miss you so much...." A tear rolls down her face as she closes her eyes. Suddenly a vision of Lycan pops in her head, he is seen floating in space breathing slowly, but is slightly transparent. Her eyes shoot open as she leaps off the bed and runs to the living room with a face of absolute shock and states to Dawn and Sam. "Guys....my dad is alive!?" Their eyes widen as they look to each other, the room now silent.
