The Tales of Robin Hood
A comment thread in my journal the other day made me realise that I've been living on the outskirts of Nottingham for about three months now, and I haven't drawn a single Robin Hood-themed pic!
So here's Zee-Zee, showing the sights to that adorable anglophile,
thewetrabbit! That's The Tales Of Robin Hood, which is really quite fun to visit (although the pub just down the road that does karaoke is even more fun ^.^)
(Sorry about the picture quality on this one, I know it's not very big. If you can't read the dialogue, it goes:
Zee-Zee: And over there, that's where Robin Hood did that clever thing with the bow and arrow!
Wet Rabbit: Oooooh. Right there?
Zee-Zee: Yep, right next to the gift shop, I think...)

Sort of a museum, but more of a fun ride - you sit in a little car and drive around lots of animatronic models of Robin Hood and everyday 12th-century folk. And they do banquets and mediaeval themed events too, with people dressing up in funny costumes. And there's usually a real live hawk sitting outside the door and scaring little cubs as they go in!
I loves this on 2 levels (The obvious one being that I'm in it, heheh)... and the 2nd one being that I actually am something of a proponent of mixing furry art in with rl location photography.
Can't really explain why even... just looks more interesting. (Well, that... and I kind of suck at doing Background art).
Now, what I'd REALLY give anything to see is a pic of me in the place I've only dreamed about visiting thus far... the real life locations featured in my fave animated movie, Watership Down.
Then again... I know there's pics others have taken on the net around there... so, it would simply be a matter of taking an internet stock photo that's copyright free and all that, and working with it for the purpose I just mnetioned. hehe.
Oh, btw... most importanly here... thanky yoo wittle Omega (Latin for "Z") for this pic. *hugs*
