Just finished this timcanpy prop for animefest 2015. Its been a ongoing project for some time. most of it was spent refining all the models them making 2 part molds for each item like the tail, wings and body. last year i tried making the golem out of flexfoam 17 from smooth-on but it just didn't capture the details and was much to fragile of a material.
Just recently smooth-on released a new product called Urecoat that is a clear brush on rubber used to capture detail and make some amazing props and weapons for costumes. took me 4 attempts but by brushing in shimmer power into the mold i was able to achieve the golden look of the character and give it a nice flexible and strong surface using Urecoat.
Its also bendable with wire in the wings plus tail and squishy as the main inter filling is made of Flexfoam 3.

Still lots to refine and a new mold needs to be made as the current mold was shrinking so it caused some large gaps on the seams than i would like.
